Bellamy returns to Reds
The Wales captain is understood to have moved back to the Reds on a two-year deal after negotiating his exit from Manchester City.
Bellamy, who left Liverpool after one season in 2007 for West Ham, will provide Anfield boss Kenny Dalglish with a back-up option to Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll.
Earlier on transfer deadline day, the Reds sold David Ngog to Bolton in order to make room in their squad for Bellamy.
A statement shortly before Wednesday's 11pm transfer deadline read: "Liverpool have tonight announced that Craig Bellamy has signed a contract with the club."
Bellamy will wear the No.39 shirt at Anfield and the deal represents a whirlwind day for the striker after he left training with his country to complete the move.
The 32-year-old went on to join City from West Ham in 2009, but he was not a part of Roberto Mancini's plans after the Italian succeeded Mark Hughes.
